Estero Golf Communities
Estero Bundled and Equity Golf Clubs
Equity Golf
An equity golf club is going to be what is most commonly found in Florida, and is more exclusive. The homes and condominiums located in equity golf communities are going to have higher price tags on average, and do not include a membership in the golf club. A separate initiation fee and/or golf fee must be paid to the club, which is then refunded either entirely or partially upon departure from the neighborhood. Depending on the exclusivity of the neighborhood and club, the fee can range anywhere from $30,000 all the way up into the $300,000s.
Bundled Golf
The other type of golf community in Estero, a bundled community, includes the golf membership with the purchase of a home or condo in the community and is less expensive on average. There is no requirement to be a member of the club, and there are typically more members in the golf club since it is not restricted only to residents in the neighborhood. The main difference is that members will usually need to schedule tee times in advance of when they want to play whereas equity members can play at the drop of a hat.
