Bonita Springs Golf Communities
Bonita Springs Offers Both Equity and Bundled Golf
Bonita Spring Equity Golf
Bonita Springs is host to both equity golf clubs as well as bundled golf communities. Equity golf communities are more expensive and are typically higher-end neighborhoods.
These equity golf clubs require a buy-in and initiation fee usually anywhere between $30,000 and $250,000. And in many cases, there is a portion or even all of the initial fee returned to the member upon leaving the neighborhood.
The benefit of equity golf clubs is that they are typically limited to a lower number of members (250 – 400 members) in order to maintain the exclusivity. This is because members want to be able to play as often as they like.
Bonita Springs Bundled Golf
Bundled communities are typically less expensive than their equity counterparts. All of the associated fees are wrapped into the monthly HOA fees or a part of the annual golf fees.
The purchase of a home in these communities usually include membership in the club. Generally this is transferable should the owner decide to sell their home or lease it out as an investment.
Both equity and bundled golf communities usually have single family homes and condominiums available. It is frequently more common for bundled communities to have a greater number of condominium units for sale. This is because of the higher capacity limit of the golf course and less concern of exclusivity.
These golf communities typically are limited to a number higher than equity clubs (450 – 900 members). Although this may seem substantially higher, the ability of residents to play golf frequently is not hindered too much.
Members of these communities have to reserve tee times in advance, but still have the option to play as many times per week as they would like. Although, some communities unless have a limit per person. For instance, this max play per week limit is typically set at 5 – 6 rounds per week which is still a very generous number.
